If you are experiencing difficulties entering the SmilesByWire site and viewing your images, please follow the instructions below.
Please print this page for reference as you complete the following steps:
First Steps:
1. Close the browser completely (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) and make sure all browser windows are closed. 2. Open the email notification you received regarding your SmilesByWire access code. 3. Click on the link provided in the email, or use the mouse to select (highlight) the URL and press 'Control C'. 4. If you were able to click the link in the email, the browser should open automatically for you. Otherwise, open the browser, highlight the URL in the address bar and press 'Control V' to paste the SmilesByWire URL in the address bar. 5. If you were able to follow the link in the email in step #3, your Access Code field should be filled. Otherwise, copy and paste the Access Code from the email. Make sure there are no blank spaces or periods within the access code or following it. 6. Single click 'View Portrait Images'.
If you continue to have problems, restart the computer and begin again from Step 1.
If you continue to have problems, please trash the cache and the history files.
Clearing Your Browser's Cache
In Internet Explorer: 1. Single click the Tools menu and select Internet Options 2. Single click the "Delete Files" under the "General" tab, single click on "Clear History" and hit OK. 3. Close the browser. 4. Repeat steps 1-6 under first steps.
In Netscape: 1. Single click the Edit menu and select Preferences. 2. On the left side of the menu, single click on the triangle shape next to the word Advanced. A second menu drops down, single click on "Cache". 3. Single click the "Clear Memory Cache" button. 4. Close the browser completely. 5. Repeat steps 1-6 under first steps.

If all steps fail and you are still unable to access the SmilesByWire sitting, we recommend updating your browser to the most recent version at www.microsoft.com or www.netscape.com.
