  1. How do I save the images to my hard drive?

  5. I have multiple (or expired) sittings on SmilesByWire, but when I enter the second sitting information, portrait images from my first sitting are displayed.

Sharing SmilesByWire

  1. What is the difference between sharing SmilesByWire and emailing images?

    When you share your SmilesByWire sitting, you are giving access to SmilesByWire so that your friends and family can view images and order portrait products. By emailing your images, you are sending the images as an email attachment. Your friends will not have access to the SmilesByWire site and cannot order portraits, but they would still be able to forward the image attachments to others.

  2. How do I share my SmilesByWire sitting with friends and family?

    Click here to share your Access Code (you must be logged in to your SmilesByWire sitting). If you wish to share your images so that others may view images and order portraits, you must disclose your Customer Name and Access Code. If you are sure you wish to release this information, complete the short form and an email will be sent to the address you specify. You are responsible for keeping your Customer Name and Access Code secure.

    If you prefer, you may also select to have specific images emailed as .jpg attachments. Click here and complete the short form to have the images sent via email.

  3. Can I receive a higher resolution or larger image?

    The images on this SmilesByWire are published in a low-resolution format for uploading speed and viewing. Any images that are viewed or downloaded will not be as crisp as a high-resolution print. High resolution, professional quality portraits are available for reorder online or through your local studio.

Downloading Images

  1. How do I save the images to my hard drive?

    Simply click on the image while on the Download Portrait Images page and you will be prompted to choose the location on your hard drive to save the images to. Alternatively, you can also right click on the image and select "Save Picture/Image As".

  2. When I go to save the image, my only options are .BMP and .ART, how can I save them?

    Internet Explorer Users:
    One possible cause could be a bug in the version of Internet Explorer you are using, please CLICK HERE for more information and a fix from Microsoft.

    Microsoft also recommends a different solution if you continue to experience this problem, please CLICK HERE for directions from Microsoft.

    If you continue to have problems, you can email the images to yourself and save the email attachments directly to your hard drive.

  3. How do I download images with a Macintosh?

    Mac users should press the control key while clicking on the image with the mouse button. A drop down menu will appear and "Save Image to Disk" should be selected. Exact wording may differ depending on Operating System and browser version.
