Reordering Portraits

  1. How do I order additional portraits?

    Additional portraits can be ordered after you have received your original portrait package for 90 days after your portrait sitting. To order portraits simply click the Order tab across the top of the page or the link in the left navigation bar.

  2. Can anyone else order portraits from my sitting?

    When you share your Customer Name and Access Code, others will have access to your SmilesByWire service and can view images and order portrait products. You are responsible for keeping your Customer Name and Access Code secure.

  3. Are there shipping/handling charges?

    JCPenney Portraits charges a service fee of $6.95 for reorders from each sitting. This service fee covers shipping and handling charges. For example, if you place an order for several portraits of one sitting, the fee would be $6.95, if you place an order for one portrait from one sitting, then another portrait from a different sitting, the fee would be $13.90. JCPenney Portraits does not charge a service fee for the purchase of Portrait Club Memberships or Gift Certificates. Portrait Club members do not pay sitting fees during their membership period, but reorder service fees are still applicable.

  4. Is it safe to order online?

    SmilesByWire protects your personal information with Secure Socket Layering (SSL). When you order portraits, a new frame will open in the lower portion of your screen taking you to http://secure.jcpenneyportraits.com. Secure.jcpenneyportraits.com uses SSL to encrypt your personal credit information, including your credit card number, before it travels over the Internet. SSL technology is the industry standard for secure online transactions.

  5. I am experiencing technical difficulties while placing an order, what should I do?

    We apologize for any inconvenience. This site works best with recent versions of Internet Explorer or Netscape, and either can be downloaded free of charge. If you continue to have difficulties, please contact customer service online or call 1-888-228-7928.

  6. Can I use a coupon for ordering portraits online?

    We're sorry, all coupons are for original portrait sittings and must be presented at the time of the sitting.

  7. What is your tax policy online?

    We collect and remit sales taxes when and where required by law. Your shopping cart will indicate sales taxes where appropriate.
